RC&D Awards

North Dakota RC&D Councils are encouraged to submit applications for state awards on an annual basis. Award nominations are due on August 30th of each year, and are reviewed by the awards committee prior to the final selections in each category.  Award winners are announced at the Association meeting, and all state award winner applications are forwarded to the Western Conference Awards Selection Committee for regional competition.  Regional winners are then eligible for national competition. 

Eligible award categories include the following: 

  • Council of the Year
  • Council Member of the Year
  • McCarty Award for Outstanding Coordinator
  • Supporting Organization of the Year
  • Outstanding Youth Involvement Award
  • Outstanding Program Assistant of the Year

North Dakota RC&D Program Recognized by National RC&D President
